My name is Boyd Myers and I am a master fitness trainer, performance nutrition expert, and a competitive bodybuilder. Currently, I reside in San Antonio, TX where I own my own personal training studio. I have been a personal trainer since late 1996, and have trained numerous professional athletes, magazine cover models (Playboy, Oxygen to name a few), fitness competitors, and just as importantly, many busy professionals, stay at home mothers, and regular people just like you.
My personal training and performance nutrition philosophies are extensive and provide intense results. When working with any client, I have two goals. First and foremost, rapid physique transformation. There are a few reasons for this - I do not pay for advertising anywhere. So it is my job to make people say “What on earth are you doing?” There’s no magic here. Changes do not happen overnight, but when the proper training regimen is combined with a specific, complimenting nutritional program, amazing things happen with the body.
My other goal is education. I understand that a personal trainer is a luxury. Unlike other trainers who expect you to work with them for months or years, I take a different approach: I want you to learn what you need to do, when you need to do it and why you need to do it so that you can do it on your own. Sure, many individuals use a personal trainer for motivation and accountability, and that is fine. However, it is important to me that you get more than what you expect when you hire me as your personal trainer. Transformation can be temporary. Ever heard the saying “Teach a man to fish?” My goal is to “teach you to fish”. I design each program to not only get results, but also to help the individual gain knowledge so that they are able to continue to make progress long after their time with me has ended.
The Caveman Program is the perfect approach to help me accomplish both of my goals as a fitness trainer. While books and articles in magazines are being written and web communities are being created about complicated approaches to changing the body, I prefer simple science coupled with tried and true training principles.
I’ve helped literally hundreds of people get in the best shape of their lives, beyond what they even considered possible. With the proper amount of motivation and the right guidance, age and current condition are not factors in limiting how far you will be able take your body.
I make it a point to practice what I preach, and am also a competitive bodybuilder.
